"A church is people - not a building". GBC is a group of people
who worship God through the Lord Jesus and wish to serve the community
of Godmanchester and beyond. Anyone is welcome to join us. There are activities
for all age groups throughout the week; a Childrens Club for ages
6 - 11 on Thursday evenings, a Rock Solid youth club for 11 - 15's on
Friday evenings and various activities at the weekends for ages 15-20.
Other activities connected with the church are mentioned elsewhere in
this magazine. We meet on Sundays at 10.30 am (a crèche is available)
and 6.30 pm, at the Church Centre in East Chadley Lane. Feel free to visit
us or phone our church office on 458565 if you would like more information.

As the name implies, this a worshiping group basically a Christian
Church, worshiping in silence, without clergy. Spoken ministry is invited
from anyone who feels moved by the spirit to speak. Meetings for Worship
are held on Sunday mornings from 11:00-12:00 mid-day at the meeting house:
The Rose and Crown Quaker Centre in Post Street. If desired telephone

also used for meetings of various groups, including W.I and Yoga classes.
During school term time, it is the home of the Jig-Saw Nursery. You are

HCC has been connected with Godmanchester for several years, having met
in the past in the primary school and had it's offices in Post Street.
With the continued growth of the Church, Sunday morning meetings are now
held at 10am in the Performing Arts Centre at Hinchingbrooke School and
the offices are now at the Church Centre, 83a High Street, Huntingdon.
HCC in Godmanchester has several groups (Life Groups) which meet in homes
during the week. These Life Groups seek to live out New Testament Christianity,
experiencing the reality of Jesus Christ in their lives, relating to one
another, and reaching out to those around them. A warm welcome awaits
you!
