Huntingdon Constituency Conservative Association, Godmanchester
Branch
Richard Butcher Tel:451 815
There is a small but thriving Conservative Association in Godmanchester.
Political activity is low this year as Godmanchester is not involved in
the current round of District Council elections. However, it is all hands
to the pumps in 2004 with a complete re-election of the District Council.
We are currently seeking candidates to stand in these elections. Should
you wish to offer your services, join the Association or assist with the
delivery of leaflets I would be pleased to hear from you. The next social
event is a Strawberry Tea, Sunday 22 June. Information and tickets from
the Chairman Richard Butcher.

Post Street, 8.00pm on the second Tuesday of the month (February, April
and so on), the other monthly meetings are held in Huntingdon. At these
meetings we have speakers/political debates and discussions, many on local
issues. Members partake in all the National and Local Labour political
activities. The Party has a Social Committee organising fund raising and
social events throughout the year. New members welcomed; contact Thelma

If you vote Liberal Democrat (and many of you do), surely its
time to act Liberal Democrat. There are so many ways to become involved;
there must be one for you. Then you can be part of the political action,
not just watching on the sidelines. All members can vote for the Party
Leader, Parliamentary Candidate etc. One of Godmanchester's District Councillors
is a Liberal Democrat. If you want to join, or you just want to help get
more Liberal Democrat representation both locally and nationally, contact
