GMCCA meets regularly on the second Thursday each month at 8pm in the Comrades Club; see the Events page. The club kindly allows us to meet in their facilities and you don't need to be a Member to join us. Looking forward to seeing you there! Minutes listed below."Making Godmanchester a home, not simply a town" The Community Association exists solely
to facilitate events in the town It is open to anyone to participate, to whatever level of commitment you can offer, whether regularly assisting in the organisation of events or "being there" at the time we need you. Just come along to participate at any of our meetings. Through participation in the Association you will be helping to ensure the community spirit of Godmanchester is maintained through events such as Gala Week and Picnic-in-the-Park, and of course the Fireworks display, plus capturing this spirit via the annual "The Bridge" magazine. If you'd like to chat about our activities simply speak to one of our members or call Stuart Bond (E-mail). All residents of the town are welcome to participate in the Community Association; some people are "in the background" helping out on Gala Day and Fireworks Night, some are involved in The Picnic-in-the-Park, others distribute the Association's annual magazine "The Bridge", some contribute an article etc, whilst others are involved in planning of events and supporting the organisation through the year. We look forward to hearing from you. Contact Stuart Bond, CA Chairman on 01480 395 448 or e-mail Company Limited by Guarantee No. 3769694. Registered Charity No. 274712 2002 was the Community Association's Silver Jubilee and Pat Doherty provides an interesting article on how it started. Community Association MembersStuart Bond Chairman
